Help build team spirit and raise more money with ‘wrap-around’ events. These are fun and all add to your total. Here are some examples, but don’t limit yourself to this… be creative!
Casual Fridays: Ask employees to have a casual day and pay $5 towards your team’s fundraising. For a change you could try a shorts day, or formal wear day.
Food, glorious food: everyone has to eat so hold a cake stall, put on a BBQ or bring a plate in return for donations.
Collection tins: place collecting tins in common areas to encourage impulse donations.
Fundraising breakfast, morning tea or lunch: provide the food and show our DVD to motivate your workmates. You can raise funds from donations and recruit some new members to your team.
A great way for team members to raise big bucks is to write letters or send emails to everyone they know. Download suggested messages from our website, and add bits of your own.
Check with the boss to arrange for your company to match the dollars raised by your team. Any team members who work somewhere else should ask their company to dollar match also.
