• When is Light the Night?

  Light the Night will take place in most capital cities on Wednesday 21st September 2011.  For a list of locations near you select your state below.  

• Can I organise my own event?

  Yes. If you live one hour from our locations you can hold your own event.  Sign up as an Event Host and we will send you information to get you started.  We will ask you to tell us as much as possible about where your event is, what will be happening on the night, what time it starts and the name of the person registrants should contact if they want to know more about your event. 

  We will also:

  • promote your event on the Light the Night website
  • send you a 'host kit' as  well as required documents with guidelines
  • offer advice and help if we can for idea's and tips.

• Can I volunteer to help?

  Please do – the more the merrier! Our events would not be possible without the efforts of our unpaid helpers. We are looking for passionate and energetic new members to join our team. There are many opportunities for people with diverse talents to help.
