Paying in money and receipt books

  • What do I do with the receipt book?

    The book has receipts to give to your sponsors – standard amounts are pre-printed and there are blank ones you can fill in for larger amounts.

    The book contains two deposit slips so you can take money to the bank. There are details of other ways to get the money to us – eg BPAY allows you to transfer the money to us in the same was as paying a bill by phone or internet banking. Just use our special number and your customer reference number.

    Important: Return your books. Tax Office rules say we MUST get the receipt books back. We provide an envelope for this. Please do not throw away the receipt books if you have not used them.

  • How do I pay in the money?

    There are lots of ways.

    At the bank: Collect all the cash and cheques and take them to any branch of the bank listed on the deposit slip inside your receipt book. It’s Commonwealth Bank in Queensland, and National Australia Bank everywhere else in Australia.

    Put it on the plastic! Complete the credit card details inside the receipt book and we’ll charge your card when we get the book back. Or use the "Pay-in" feature on your fundraising page.

    Send us a cheque when you send the receipt book back.

  • What’s the address for sending back the receipt book?

  • When’s the deadline for paying in my money?

    We ask that you bank all your funds raised and return your receipt book a few days before you attend Light the Night.  Another option is to give your funds raised and receipt book to your Team Captain and they will bring it to the Incentive Collection & Donation Drop day.

  • I didn’t take part – do I have to return the kit?

    Yes, the receipt book must be returned as it is a legal document which needs to be accounted for.
